Public
art at Ropetackle
Public art is set to play an important part in the redevelopment that is taking place at Ropetackle.
Adur District Council, the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Berkeley Homes, through Arts Council England funding, appointed Brighton based Steve Geliot as the lead artist to help with the design of the public open space. These organisations believe that the introduction of public art into the scheme makes a considerable contribution to the design quality and the regeneration of the area generally.
Steve has now completed the public art plan and the next phase of commissioning these pieces or artwork is about to begin.
For further information about public art at Ropetackle please contact Adur's Cultural Development Co-ordinator.
