you want to receive regular council news direct to your e-mail address?
On this page you can apply for council e-mail alerts direct from our Newsroom. You will receive all news releases the day they are released to the press.
You can also subscribe to receive alerts about jobs adverts as they come up.
There is also the opportunity to have the weekly planning application or/and decisions send to you direct.
- Apply here for the council's alerts service on-line by sending us an e-mail with your name and e-mail address and which alerts service you would like to subscribe to (this allows you to subcribe to, or unsubscribe from, a council e-mail alert service)
Please ensure in your initial e-mail you state which alert(s) you would like to receive.
Alerts are currently available for :
- Job advert alerts (sent out as they are added to the website)
- News release alerts (sent out as they are added to the website)
- Planning application alerts (sent out weekly)
- Planning decision
