Shoreham Farmers' Market in the top three for third time

For
the third year running Shoreham Farmers Market is a finalist for the Sussex
Food and Drink Awards' 'Best Farmers Market in Sussex'.
The winner will be announced on Thursday January 29, 2009. The other two
finalists are Uckfield - last year’s winner, and Pulborough.
Give the market a try this weekend and get your Christmas off to a great start at the Shoreham Food and Drink Festival (13/12/08 and 14/12/08)
A party atmosphere complete with live music, entertainers and a Winter Ale Festival will help shoppers browse through over 120 stalls on Saturday at the Farmers' Market. Loads of food, fun and great shopping for all the family complete with a nativity scene with a selection of farm animals.
On Sunday there's a chance to buy some continental fayre as the Brunomarts French and Continental Market comes to Shoreham. As well as mouth watering food there’s leather goods, baskets and other goodies, live entertainment and a Christmas market.
Adur town centre manager, David Steadman said: “I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who voted for our farmers market. And to say we’ve got a great weekend of markets and fun going on - so come down and enjoy yourselves.”
