Another great Urban Day in Sompting

Due to popular demand Hamble recreation ground in Sompting will host another
great Urban Day on August 27 from 10.30am to 4pm.
Over 100 youngsters turned up to the last Urban Day and enjoyed every minute. Skaters can learn some new tricks and get their ollies up to scratch. Budding Banksys can do their own masterpieces with help from urban artists. Learn to spin the decks with some cool DJs from the Gravity project and move to the drum and base beats with street dancing. There’s loads of workshops all day long.
Sport is not left out, footballers can get stuck into street football in the latest in portable sports equipment ‘the cage’.
Organised by Adur Council's wellbeing team,Urban Days are for young people aged 10 plus. Entry for the day is £2 and includes a free fruit smoothie from the blender vendor machine - cycle while you make your own fruit smoothie.
