Join Brenda for a special Christmas service
Ref : 07/124 : Date : 11-12-2007
People are invited to celebrate the Christmas season with Adur Council Chairman Brenda Collard at her special evening service of carols, readings and poems and join her for mince pies and mulled wine.
This Christian service takes place at St Mary de Haura Church in Shoreham on Wednesday 19 December at 6.30pm. The service will also feature the St Mary de Haura handbell ringers, the Adur Concert Band and singing group Naked Voices.
Brenda is looking forward to this service, she said: “A Christmas service is always a good way to start the festivities of the season. I hope many people will join me and my colleagues for this celebration.”
All donations from this event will go the Chairman’s charity this year which is the Women’s Refuge Project in Adur. The project provides practical assistance and emotional support in a safe and confidential environment for women and children affected by domestic violence, who live in, or have a local connection with the Adur district.
