Housing - Adur Homes Services
Getting involved
The people who live in our homes have a wide variety of needs and expectations.
You may want to take an active part in influencing management decisions or you may want us to help provide community facilities, events, give advice or training.
By involving residents and leaseholders in the housing management process, we can make sure that our systems and practices are user friendly and meet your needs.
We encourage all residents to take the opportunity to influence decisions at whatever level you wish.
Methods for community involvement include:
- Residents’ groups
- The Adur Consultative Forum (ACF) - a district wide umbrella group consisting
of representatives from residents’ associations and individuals -
see the ACF website (www.adurconsultativeforum.org.uk)
The ACF Resource Centre is situated at 101 North Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 9BB. During opening hours, the office is staffed by ACF volunteers and acts as a drop-in and resource centre for council tenants and leaseholders. Outside of these times, the centre is used as a meeting room for residents’ associations and for tenant and leaseholder groups. It also contains a small library of publications on housing and community services and provides ACF members with computer and printing facilities. See photos of resource centre at bottom of page.
