Noise control and neighbour complaints
The Domestic and Pollution Team investigate complaints about noise from domestic, commercial or industrial premises. They can also investigate complaints about noise from building work or use of equipment in the street, including vehicle alarms. Complaints are investigated as soon as possible and a first response will be made within four working days.
If you are having problems with noise and wish to make a complaint then report it to us and we will send you a noise monitoring form that you can fill in and return to us.
We can also provide advise on noise reduction methods and provide objective assessments of planning applications where the issue of environmental noise is material consideration.
