Domestic Violence takes many forms ranging from physical attacks, sexual assaults, and threats of violence to more subtle forms such as being locked in, humiliation and being kept short of money. Often children are hurt as a result of domestic violence.
The Women’s Refuge Project at Adur provides support for women and children affected by domestic violence who live in, or have a local connection with, the Adur district. We provide practical assistance and emotional support in a safe and confidential environment where you will not be judged or pressured into taking a particular course of action.
